Welcome to Vida Badminton Club

 About us

VIDA Badminton Club was formed in 2004 as a result of a merger of two local clubs. The clubs were Prescot Badminton Club (formally BICC Badminton Club) and Crosfields.

The club now has more than forty members and plays in the St. Helens, Leigh, Warrington and Wigan Leagues.
The club plays on Monday and Wednesday nights 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm at Orford Jubilee Park - see map below. Monday night is our 'main' night; we play matches on Mondays but will always have 2 courts free for players not involved in the match. We also play home matches on Wednesdays; more detail about this schedule is available from our Fixtures page.
Membership fees for the 16/17 season are £100. This is payable in two installments £70 before the end of Sept and £30 before the end of Jan. Juniors (under 18) joining the Senior Club are half price [but see also our Junior Club page]. Match fees are £3.00 per match.

Visitors fees are £3 per visit up to a maximum of four visits per season.

We play with top quality feather shuttles for both club and match nights.

Vida BC is registered with Badminton England and affiliated to Cheshire County Badminton Association

New members aged 17+ are welcome to visit up to four times [Mondays]; after this, visitors of an appropriate standard will be invited to join the club or, if we are full, will be added to a waiting list. Players of all standards are welcome to attend throughout our Summer Club, May to August.
Please contact any of the club officials for more info :- Chairman@vidabc.co.uk or Treasurer@vidabc.co.uk
