Prenatal Program Coordinator


Give yourself and your baby the best possible start with the Healthy Mom's, Healthy Babies Program! The Canadian Prenatal Nutrition Program (CPNP) at Victoria Faulkner Women's Centre provides support for expectant and new mothers with infants up to 6 months of age. Women have a chance to interact with other moms and babies and enjoy a variety of activities. The Program's goals ensure healthy birth weights and eating habits, promote and support breastfeeding, improve long term family health and empower women to make healthy lifestyle choices.

What does it provide?

-Support for expectant and new mothers with infants up to 6 months of age.
-A network of support and interaction opportunities with other women
-Opportunities to be involved in program planning
-Skill building and information sessions on a wide range of subjects
-Breastfeeding support.
                    

-Pre- and post-natal activities
-Dietitian consults
-Weekly drop-in sessions providing healthy lunches.
-Grocery and mineral supplements
