College/University Information

One of the reasons athletes try out for the Devils teams is so they can compete against the best and increase their chances of one day getting a college scholarship.  As coaches and managers, we should do what we can to make our athlete's dreams at least become a 'possibility'.  As we all know, not all of our players will or even want to play college ball but I think we owe it to the athletes (and parents) to pass on the information we accumulate from year to year.

Information on the following pages will, hopefully, start you off on the right foot when dealing with this topic.  I think first and foremost you have to make it clear to the parents that you (as coach or manager) are not in charge of their daughter's recruiting....they are!  You can send them some information that will be located on these pages and plan tournaments and recruitment camps for exposure but they will have to do the homework on what's best to get their athlete recruited.  Hopefully, more information can be added year to year as each team goes through the process.
