94 Devil, Emily Newman, was named All-Conference First team (NAIA's North Star Conference) in her final season in college softball.  It was her second time being named to the team after being selected first team in her Junior season.  After playing her freshman year at Frank Phillips Community College, she moved on to Jamestown University where she led the team to improved records in each of the three seasons.

With her three year career at Jamestown coming to a close, Emily was able to carve her name in the record book in both career and season stats.  Her career numbers include:  2nd in Batting Average (.434) and 2nd in Walks (48).  Season records include: 3rd Best Batting Average (.466), 1st in Doubles (27) and the 2nd longest hitting streak (20 games).
