Marie-Christine Camus
 
(Francia, 1954)
Artista visual, obtiene una Maestría en Ciencias y Técnicas de la Comunicación en Paris y se traslada a México en 1980 donde estudia cine en el Centro Universitario de Estudios Cinematográficos de la UNAM. Después de desarrollarse profesionalmente como directora de fotografía y realizadora, se dirige hacía las artes visuales. Incursiona en el videoarte y produce sus primeros videos personales a partir del 2001: "Ensayo #1", "Diario",  "Regeneración",  “Paisaje”, “Hebras”, "Imagen memoria", entre otros. Varios están seleccionados en muestras y festivales. Participa en las siguientes exposiciones: 'Imágenes multimedia de un mundo complejo' simultaneamente  en España (Sevilla, Granada), Argentina (Buenos Aires), México (DF) y Cuba (La Habana),  (mayo 2008). Festival Parismexmental (Paris 2006). Segundas Jornadas de Antropología Visual Repercusiones y resonancias (México DF 2006). Exposición MEXICONEWYORKPARIS, en el Centre Cultural Station Indianilla en  (México DF, 2008)

Festival Vidarte (México DF,2002). En 2008 recibe el apoyo de  European Cultural Foundation (http://www.eurocult.org). Mobility Fund “Step beyond” y en 2003 la beca "Educación por el Arte 2003" en el marco del "Programa Nacional de Educación Artística"
Participa como curadora a ALEA, estrategia y programa en el Centro Multimedia (México 2008) y organiza el evento Entre memoria y olvido, otra mirada sobre la historia en Francia (2008)

Marie-Christine Camus (France, 1954)
After she obtained a Master Degree in Communication (Paris-XIII University), and studied cinema in Mexico City (CUEC-UNAM), she worked as a cinematographer in films and documentaries, some of them won international prices. After those experiences she focused her interest to visual arts, particularly video art. Some of her videos have been selected in international festivals and exhibited in expositions, as Vidarte, (Mexico City, 2003); MexParisMental, (Paris,2006); Multimedia Images in a Complex World (Centro Cultural Estación Indianilla, Mexico City and Multimedia Center, 2008), MexicoNewYorkParis,  (Spain, Argentina, Cuba and Mexico City, 2008). In her artistic works she explores concepts of history and memory: the historical narrative constructions, commemorations and memorials, (Image memory, 2006) and in the last few years her artistic research is focused on creation of visual archives on World War II.  In that context, she collaborate with the Croatian artist Neli Ruzic in the project Journey to the Island (The Hole).
Actually, she works as a contemporary art researcher in the National Center for Investigation, Documentation and Information for Visual arts (CENIDIAP-INBA) in Mexico City. She collaborates as a teacher in the project Transitio, transdisciplinary certificate  in investigation, experimentation and artistic production,  (National Center for the Arts, Mexico City) and participate in the  Seminary  “Contemporary Society Topics” (National Center for the Arts, Mexico City), space of discussion about transdisciplinary issues in the context of art and education.
In 2003, she was granted by the National Program for Artistic Education and in 2008 she received the Step beyond grant for the project Journey to the Island (The Hole).

Neli Ruzic ( Split, Croacia, 1966) artista visual, se graduó en pintura en la Facultad de Artes de la Universidad de Belgrado, ex Yugoslavia. Fue premiada en la Bienal de Jóvenes de Mediterráneo,1993 y en 1996 como becaria del ArtsLink, Nueva York reside en el Headlands Center for the Arts, Sausalito, California.
Desde 1999. reside en la Ciudad de México donde trabaja como docente en la ENPEG "La Esmeralda”, así como en la Facultad de Artes, UAEM, Cuernavaca, Morelos (2003- agosto, 2007) y la ESAY, Mérida, Yucatán (2008-2009). Impartío junto con Marie-Christine Camus nodo Itinerancia, Poéticas de la geografía dentro del Diplomado Tránsitos (2009).
En los últimos dos proyectos individuales Estrategias del olvido (presentada en: Galería La Esmeralda, México y Mooving Gallery, Omaha, E.A.U.,2006) y Cartografías del tiempo y utopías necesarias (Ex Teresa, 2007) explora conceptos de memoria, migración e identidad. Actualmente colabora con Marie-Christine Camus en el proyecto Viaje a la isla.

Neli Ruzic ( Split, Croatia, 1966) graduated of the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade (painting), former Yugoslavia. From 1999. lives and works in Mexico City where she works as a professor on ENPEG "La Esmeralda", National Center for The Arts. In 1993 she receive Award at the Mediterranean Youth Biennale / Rijeka, Croatia and 1996 an ArtsLink Grant for Residency at Headlands Center for The Arts, Sausalito, CA.  
Her recent projects Oblivion Strategies (Gallery La Esmeralda, Mexico and Moving Gallery, Omaha, USA, 2006) as Cartographies of time and necessary utopias (Ex Teresa, Mexico, 2007) explores concepts of memory, migration and identity. Actually collaborating with Marie-Christine Camus on the project Journey to the Island (The Hole).
