Verdict Speech and Debate Club is a competitive club for homeschool students ages 13-18. We are affiliated with the National Christian Forensics and Communication Association (
It is our hope to equip students with skills to become Godly servant leaders who can effectively communicate and impact the world for Christ. The competitive aspect of the club gives the students an incentive to sharpen their skills as speakers and debaters.  Also, it allows them to meet like minded people from all over the country at the tournaments.
    We meet on Monday at Auburn Road Presbyterian Church, 642 N. Auburn Road in Venice, FL.   Membership registration fee is $75/family to cover cost of copies and other expenses.
Pre-requiste:  All new students must attend a speech and debate camp before becoming a member of Ver•Dict
  •  Each student must participate in at least one tournament. 
  • Each family must join the NCFCA by September 15th.
There will be additional costs for tournaments. Estimates are provided in the registration information, which is attached at the bottom of this page.
