ubuntuTV

This is a picture with my anonymous flag outside channel 7 at Occupy Sydney :)  and TV/Gaming linux based desktop program called Kaffeine.
The TV is showing Richard Moorecroft from the now defunct Letters and Numbers program on SBS TV using a Hauppauge TV mini PCI-E slot card you need to find a compatible card from the wiki on tv linux cards. I am using Maverick Meerkat for this ( but mostly use 10.04 )
Mine is called the

Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-1200 Low Profile TV Tuner Card on ebay using this person

apt-get install kaffeine

I used Kaffeine for the program and installed the xine library to handle the problem that comes up when you start ( sudo apt-get install libxine1-ffmpeg to fix the dmux error )

Using mint and some more info from lspci scan
NXP TDA100 Video Broadcast Decoder (rev d1)
and channel scan
