Dr. Venkatramanan Senapathi currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the PG and Research Department of Geology at National College, Tiruchirappalli, India. Before assuming this position, he worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow under the Brain Korea BK21 program at Pukyong National University in South Korea, and as Research Faculty at Ton Duc Thang University in Vietnam. His academic contributions are encompassing over 200 peer-reviewed articles, 2 edited books, 7 special issue volumes, 26 conference proceedings, and 12 book chapters. His Google Scholar H-index of 37. His research interests cover a wide spectrum including Environmental Geochemistry, Hydrogeological Processes, Sediment Dynamics, Remote Sensing and GIS, and Environmental Toxins.
