Mom's Stew

1 can each: lima, cannellini, and red kidney beans  (I just use white beans)

1 can vegetable broth (I use water)

1 can green beans

3 or 4 carrots, diced

3 or 4 stalks celery, sliced

2 or 3 potatoes, cubed

½ cup white cooking wine

Onion

Garlic

Oregano

Plain canned tomatoes

½ cup bread crumbs (saltines work)

2 tbsp. Brown sugar

1 tbsp. Tapioca

Salt and pepper, to taste

 

Combine all ingredients.  Place in oven for 8 - 10 hours at 250 or put in crock pot for 8 - 10 hours.
