4 cups veggie broth
1/2 tsp tamari
1 bay leaf
1/2 cup alphabet noodles (or noodles of your choice)
16 oz garbanzo beans (you may want to use less, but we really like chickpeas)
Cook carrots in a little bit of broth to soften. Add remaining broth, tamari and bay leaf and bring to boil. Mix in noodles and cook on medium heat until tender. Add beans and cook until warmed. Remove bay leaf.
