Final Presentations tomorrow!

Final Presentations are tomorrow and it seems that we are now at the point where we have finalized our project and objectives and how we intend to complete them. As the term has progressed, the scope of our project has continued to be narrowed down, and we are now in the home stretch!

Our project will now be "Maintaining Venetian Canals and Related Infrastructure" and we will be spending the next 8 weeks working towards the goal of making data relating to Venetian Canal infrastructure accessible and in an easy to understand format. We will be continuing to collect data in the weeks ahead and will use this to further the aim of reducing maintenance costs in Venice. We also realize that the health risk of the canals is a ticking time bomb and have adjusted our project to address this concern and propose potential solutions to the health risk stemming from sewage discharging in to the canals.

Now on to Venice!
