Preserving Venetian Material Culture

Welcome to the 2010 PreserVenice team website.  The PreserVenice initiative is dedicated to obtaining funding, providing documentation, and increasing awareness of material culture to contribute toward preservation. We created interactive maps, designed a mobile application, updated PreserVenice’s website, and conducted an analysis of different measuring techniques for boats in order to provide the means for future restoration and preservation.
For a brief overview of our project, please read our Executive Summary.
