El Capitan's Track and Field and Cross Country teams have been one of the school's most successful programs since the school's inception in 1958. With numerous League and CIF titles, these programs have amassed more CIF titles than the rest of the school's athletic programs combined. Many great athletes as well as coaches have been a part of this program which should make all current and future members of this team have a sense of pride.
