I am investigating the fluctuations of ancient biodiversity, focusing on the evolutionary history and tempo of extinction of Mesozoic marine reptiles. To do so, I use taxonomy, phylogenetics, diversity assessments and turnover (radiation, extinction) rate analyses.
As a geologist, I am investigating the relation between local structural geology and carbonate rock weathering in western Belgium and its bearing on quarry development.
I am currently looking for postdoc opportunities.
