VaasaCC is the northern most cricket club actively playing competitive cricket in Finland. The club was registered with the Finnish Cricket Association (FCA) in late 2006.

In 2007 VaasaCC took part in their first ever Indoor tournamanent in Turku and also competed in the T20 tournamanent organised by the FCA.

It was a proud year for VaasaCC as we missed very closely to take part in the T20 Finals, but were nonetheless proud to end up fourth in the entire tournament in our very first year.

VaasaCC took part in the SM 40 league in the year 2008 and surprised everyone with their 5 straight wins but loosing their focus in the end due to unavailability of some of their key players.

Nonetheless Vaasacc gave a good fight and managed to come 2nd in the overall position missing to Bengal Tigers by 4 points. If for the cancellation of one match due to rain it would would have been a close call. But as they say there's always next time.

We learn from our mistakes and try to overcome it. we hope to win the next SM 40 league match and bring home the trophy.
