KEITH FREEMANTLE MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP (find application at bottom of page)

The Uxbridge Soccer Club started in 1979. Its mission is to help boys, girls, men, women -all individuals - develop their character as resourceful and responsible members of their community by providing opportunities through the game of soccer for the mental, physical, social and leadership development.

Keith Freemantle was a dynamic member of the Uxbridge Soccer Club community who embodied this mission. He was a person who cheered everyone on and saw the good in all. He loved to chat with everyone and encouraged others to be involved in the soccer community. He volunteered selflessly; giving back to the community. He was a role model, exemplifying fun, fair-play, and great sportsmanship. This scholarship, established in memory of Keith Freemantle, seeks to honour those that exemplify his life as mentor, sportsman, volunteer, and friend.

There will be two (2) scholarships of $500 each. Each scholarship will be awarded to an individual who has been actively involved with the Uxbridge Soccer Club.
