Welcome to the 2018 Season of Summer Recreational Soccer

Our summer season begins the week following the May holiday weekend. A 3-week pre-season allows for roster adjustments and player assessments and leads into the Opening Festival & Photo Day on Sat. June 9. We endeavour to call to each player family by the Victoria Day long weekend just to confirm team placement and specific dates, times, and location to meet your team during Week #1. Our coaches are parent volunteers so we ask for your patience as team rosters are organized and information is distributed. Remember, to check the Club web site for all this information and updates too.

NEW for 2018!

We have several exciting announcements to share this season! At the Fields of Uxbridge we’ll be opening a new Field House with full service washrooms, a new snack bar, and a shade pavilion. This is thanks to a great partnership with the Township! The Club has launched a new online Registration system to better serve our members and volunteers – be sure to create your new account to ensure that you receive all communications. The Soccer Club is also launching a new web site and an App which will put all schedules and notices at your fingertips! And…we will have an online store with Member discounts on great Club and soccer apparel!

The Super Skills programs return for a second season after a very successful 2017 and the U10 divisions have resumed a two-night a week schedule to provide more player development. We are also introducing a NEW Program! A unique Soccer Fitness program is being piloted for Girls age 16-17-18 who want some summer fitness training beyond the gym and it’s paired with the fun and social aspects of recreational soccer. As a bonus, girls will also be able to play in the 16 Plus division. Spread the word! Programs run based on sufficient registrations received by April 15th!

Also new this year, NDSI coaches (U12 & Up) will be asked to complete the Respect in Sport for Activity Leaders course by May 1.

A Reminder that the traffic flow at the Fields of Uxbridge is one way with entry at the Main St. Gates. The driveway has been realigned near the new Field House and the exit remains via Ball Road only. Please observe the signs and do not park on the main driveway or Main St. in order to keep the way clear for emergency vehicles. View the Map

Mandatory Respect in Sport Courses

Respect in Sport for Parents is an online learning module. Supporting positive behaviour in sports and proper conduct at the fields, this program empowers parents and coaches to ensure the safety of the children and effective communication.

This mandatory course requires any registering families(that have not already done so) to complete the online soccer module OR to ‘port’ their course certification over from the hockey program. Please complete the requirements prior to May 1 so that our Registrar has confirm completion and register your child to a team. This year also introduces the mandatory Respect in Sport for Activity Leaders course for coaches in the U12 through 16 Plus age divisions. Full instructions and FAQs are on our Respect in Sport Page.

Soccer Summer Day Camps

Once again Uxbridge Soccer Club has partnered with Challenger Soccer Camps to provide a full & half day soccer skills camps for youth ages 6-16. Camps are available in half or full day options and will take place at the Herrema Fields on July 9–13, 2018.

To Register, visit the Camps page.

Volunteer while you're at the Field

The Uxbridge Soccer Club depends upon the support of willing volunteers from the Club membership to provide enthusiasm and extra adult assistance. Without parent and student volunteers, it would not be possible to organize the soccer programs for the hundreds of young players who want to play.

Please consider giving a few hours of your time to be a parent helper, co-coach, team manager, division convenor or to assist in one of the many other volunteer roles, no soccer knowledge required! A full description of volunteer needs is on the web site. The Club will also sign off for high school volunteer hours if needed.

Drop us an email, give us a call, or check out the Volunteer page to get started. Let us know how you can help out. We’d love to hear from you!

Youth Volunteers Welcome!
Need some community hours or just looking to gain experience? We welcome the help of high school students and we have lots of opportunities at the fields this summer. Check out our Volunteer page and then give us a call, or send us an email.

We’re Hiring!

Each season, USC hires a number of Program Facilitators for the summer. These energetic individuals plan and lead practices for our divisions, maintain the fields, and take an administrative role.  Interested individuals should refer to the posting online (March 1) and forward a résumé to the club office for consideration.

Keith Freemantle Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship, established in memory of Keith Freemantle, seeks to honour those that exemplify his life as mentor, sportsman, volunteer, and friend. He volunteered selflessly and actively encouraged fun, fair-play, camaraderie and great sportsmanship. Students may obtain further information on our Awards page or at the USS Guidance office.

Become a Soccer Sponsor

Team & event sponsorships are being sought for the 2018 season. We’d be happy to give your business some extra exposure and showcase your support of Youth Soccer. Team Sponsorships are just $350! Contact us at 852-6408 or by March for team sponsorships.

On the Field – Rain or Shine

Soccer is played rain or shine, with rare division cancellations and lightning calls made at the field by officials. If in doubt, please proceed to your field or check our Twitter account and web site for updates. Weather conditions change quickly and often do not cause delays. Your team depends on having a full roster at each scheduled game, rain or shine! Cancellations are normally made at game time - not before - by Referees or Club officials. Please note that cancellation of early games does not necessarily mean cancellation of later game times on the field schedule.

Heat Alerts

USC does not cancel soccer due to extreme summer heat. History has shown that most evenings, the soccer fields are one of the coolest places in town. With proper precautions, including lots of water, we are able to have a great night at the fields. Parents can use their own judgement regarding attendance but soccer will run as scheduled. Please read the complete Extreme Heat and Severe Weather Policy on our Policies Page.

Club Mediator
To support Members, a Mediator is available to confidentially address soccer-related concerns or complaints throughout the season. Contact by email:

Please take a look at our Frequently Asked Questions page, for more information.

Game and Practice Schedules will be posted closer to the start of the season on our Schedules page.

In the meantime, visit the Schedules page to find your planned nights of play.
