Welcome to the 2017 Season
House League play begins in late May with a 3-week pre-season lead up to Photo Day on June 10. You will receive a call from a club representative by the Victoria Day long weekend to confirm team placement and specific dates and times to meet your team. Remember, our coaches are parent volunteers so we ask for your patience as team rosters are organized.

NEW for 2017!
We are very excited about the changes happening this season! After much parent feedback, all of the U10 house league programs have been modified to one night per week. Youth will start out their evenings with a practice session, followed by a short rest period and concluded with a house league game.

The Club has engaged Tony LaFerrara in the role of Club Head Coach. Tony will be an excellent resource to the Club’s existing programs. He will also be running a new Skills program night for U6-U10 players who are looking for professional coaching. Space is limited in this program so register early!

The Club has also brought on Rob Accardi as Head Referee. Rob will focused on working with our youth referees to help them continue to develop into strong, confident officials on the soccer fields.

And finally, traffic flow at the Fields of Uxbridge is changing! Starting this season, all soccer traffic will enter at the Main Street driveway and exit via Ball Road. This is a big change for many families. Please be patient and aware as we all make this transition! You can see a map of the new traffic flow on our Maps page.

Respect In Sport Learning Module
Durham Region has been selected by the OSA to pilot the introduction of the Respect in Sport Program. Supporting positive behaviour in sports and proper conduct at the fields, this Mandatory program empowers parents and coaches to ensure the safety of the children and effective communication. All 2017 registering families are required to complete the online course or to ‘port’ their course certification from the hockey program.  Please complete the requirements promptly so that we can get completed rosters distributed in a timely manner. Visit the Respect in Sport page to get started.

Soccer Camp
Once again Uxbridge Soccer has partnered with Challenger Soccer Camps to provide a 1-week soccer skills day camp.
July 10-14  at the Herrema Fields, Uxbridge
July 15 - Goalkeeper Clinic
Register online today via the link on Camps page.

Support your Club - Volunteer!
The Uxbridge Soccer Club operates with volunteers drawn from the Club membership. Without you, as parent volunteers, there would not be adequate adult supervision to run House League soccer for the hundreds of young players who want to play soccer. Please consider donating a few hours a week of your time to be a parent coach or to assist in one of the many other volunteer roles. We’ll give you all the support and training you need. Let us know how you can help out. We’d love to hear from you! Check out our Volunteer page and then give us a call, or send us an email.

Youth Volunteers Wanted!
Need some community hours or just looking to help out? We need you! We have lots of opportunities for you to help at the fields this summer.
Check out our Volunteer page and then give us a call, or send us an email.

Bill Brown Memorial Award
The Bill Brown Memorial Award is presented annually to a volunteer who displays exemplary commitment to our soccer program and is a positive role model.
Congratulations to our 2016 honouree,  David McLaughlin, for his great dedication to soccer, our youth and exemplary sportsmanship.

Keith Freemantle Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship, established in memory of Keith Freemantle, seeks to honour those that exemplify his life as mentor, sportsman, volunteer, and friend. He volunteered selflessly and actively encouraged fun, fair-play, camaraderie and great sportsmanship. Congratulations to the 2016 winner, Elizabeth Runnalls.

Be a Soccer Sponsor!
We are still seeking event sponsors for the 2017 season. Give your business some extra exposure and show your support of Youth Soccer at the same time. Contact us at 852-6408 or for more information

On the Field – Rain or Shine
Soccer is played rain or shine, with division cancellations and lightning calls made at the field by officials. If in doubt, please proceed to your field or check our Twitter account and web site for updates. Weather cancellations are customarily made at game time, not before, by Referees or Club Field Ambassadors. Please Note: any cancellation of early games does not necessarily mean cancellation of later game times on the field schedule. Weather conditions change and your team depends on having a full roster at each scheduled game, rain or shine!

Heat Alerts
USC does not cancel soccer due to extreme summer heat. History has shown that most evenings, the soccer fields are one of the coolest areas in town. With proper precautions, including lots of water, we are able to have a great night at the fields. Parents can use their own judgement regarding attendance but soccer will run as scheduled. Please read the complete Extreme Heat and Severe Weather Policy on our Policies Page.

Club Mediator
To support Members, a Mediator is available to confidentially address soccer-related concerns or complaints throughout the season. Contact her by email:

Schedules will be posted closer to the start of the season on our Schedules page but in the meantime you can find your planned nights below.
