The Philosophy of Biology at Madison Workshop is designed to provide a biennial forum for new work in the philosophy of biology. The format of the workshop will provide an opportunity for speakers to receive constructive feedback from interested colleagues, and for other participants to become acquainted with new work in the field. Presented work can be on any topic in philosophy of biology or biologically oriented philosophy of science.
The workshop will take place from Friday morning, May 30th through Sunday noon, June 1st 2014.

John Beatty (University of British Columbia) will give the Keynote Address on Saturday, May 31st, entitled "The Creativity of Natural Selection? Darwin, the Synthesis, and Since."
