Despite a forecast for 6+ inches of snow UVM headed down to Tufts for the classic Boston Beanpot race. Despite an air-intake failure in our van on I-91 delaying our arrival in Boston (which we managed to fix with some ingenuity and a piece of cardboard) the team arrived and proceeded to embarrass the rest of the ECCC.  Jake Warshaw won the men's C crit while sprinting seated on the tops of his bars. Matt Buckley attacked from the gun lapped the field with 3 other riders to finish 3rd in the mens' A crit. The Men's C teams went 1-2 in the TTT and the Women C team of Robin and Emily won their TTT while also showing great promise in their criterium in only their 3rd weekend of bike racing.

For the first time this season we came out on top of the DI overall rankings for the weekend, maxed out mens points in the criterium, and managed to close the gap to our DI rivals in the national qualifications rankings. We leave this afternoon for Yale to continue our newfound dominance.
