Welcome to EdSA!

Who Are We?

EdSA is a student run organization which focuses on providing community events, professional development opportunities, and social networking for the students within our faculty while creating community!

We value the input of all students, which is why we encourage everyone to get involved through social media (Instagram) email, or scheduling some office hours to chat with an EdSA representative.

The Education Students' Association (EdSA) is a student run organization that serves the undergraduate students in the Faculty of Education.

Each year an elected executive committee and student representatives from different areas in the program represent UVic education students by:

- Organizing workshops for professional development

- Organizing social activities

- Acting as a liaison between the student and faculty bodies

- Promoting the professional sharing of resources and ideas

We acknowledge with deep respect and gratitude that we are living and learning on the unceded, stolen land of the W̱SÁNEĆ People as well as the Lək̓ʷəŋən speaking People known today as the Songhees and Esquimalt Nations. We are grateful to call this place home and commit to continual decolonization and education. HÍSW̱ḴE
