Our Minister

Introducing the Reverend Erica Baron

Rev. Erica Baron has served our congregation since 2013.  Erica is a lifelong Unitarian Universalist. She grew up first in the very large First Unitarian Universalist Society of Burlington, Vermont, and in high school, her family attended the very small Mount Mansfield Unitarian Universalist Fellowship in Jericho, Vermont. She has been an eager and active participant in Unitarian Universalist congregations for as long as she remembers.

After she graduated from high school, she attended the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, and while she was there she also attended the Unitarian Universalist Society of Amherst. She studied Social Thought and Political Economy (which is actually a real major at UMass!), and her college work was very centered in social justice principals and activities.

She received her Masters of Divinity from Andover Newton Theological School, and ministry internship at First Parish Church Unitarian Universalist of Northborough, Massachusetts, which at the time was a congregation of about 180.  After graduating in 2008, she served two congregations for five years: the Unitarian Universalist Church of Rutland, Vermont, and the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Bennington, Vermont.

Outside of her congregational ministry, she is a wife and a quilter and a mother.

Our Minster Emerita

Rev. Dr. Linda Anderson is the Minister Emerita of our congregation.  She served UUCC from 1992 to 2010 and currently serves as the Community Minister affiliated with the UU Fellowship at Stony Brook.
