Actor-writer Betty MacDonald has performed with Community Playback Theatre, TMI Events, Woodstock Book Fest, and Writers Read at the Cell Theatre in New York City. She will perform in the Best of Writers Read at Vassar on October 28th. Her work appears in several anthologies. Her memoir; How Do I Look? will be published in 2018.


Matthew J. Spireng of Lomontville is a widely published, award-winning poet. More than 1,000 of his poems have appeared in magazines and anthologies across the United States. Spireng has, won five national contests for his individual poems, published five chapbooks, and is an eight-time Pushcart Prize nominee.


Roberta Gould’s poems have been widely published in poetry journals including Confrontation, Green Mountain, and Mid American, and in the NY Times, and in numerous anthologies and translations. Woven Lightning is her twelfth book of poems. Gould does solidarity work for Haiti and Central America.
