The goal of this project is to characterize the nutrient dynamics of a coastal ecosystem in the Western Gulf of Mexico, in terms of their sources, transport, fate and effects, in coordination with the Gulf of Mexico Alliance (GOMA) Nutrient Priority Issue Team.  The University of Texas at Austin Marine Science Institute (UTMSI) and the Mission-Aransas National Estuarine Research Reserve (NERR) work as partners on this project.
