Postdoctoral Research Associate in Topological Condensed Matter/ Cold Atomic Physics

Applicants are invited for an opening as a postdoctoral research associate working in topological condensed matter physics and/or topological cold atomic physics. The candidate will work with Prof. Chuanwei Zhang in the Department of Physics at the University of Texas at Dallas. The position is available immediately. The candidate is expected to work in one of the following areas: spin-orbit coupled ultra-cold atomic gases, topological insulator, and topological superconductor in semiconductor nanostructure.

The initial appointment will be one year, but is renewable for another year, depending on the availability of funding and mutual agreement. Candidates with research background in topological condensed matter physics, or cold atomic physics (especially the BEC-BCS crossover physics) are preferred. Strong numerical skills are preferred. The candidate should email a pdf file containing a CV, a list of publications and the contact information of three references to Prof. Chuanwei Zhang, chuanwei.zhang@utdallas.edu.
