2024 Best of West
It's back...after a small hiatus, the Best of the West Trial is back and what a great time it was with friends, family and fellow bird dog lovers. Our Pole Canyon Trial Grounds at Wasatch Wing and Clay made for a great setting with dogs and handlers from all across the western United States. The competition was superb, the dog handling was outstanding and the camaraderie and atmosphere was unbeatable. With raffles, auctions and good food there was a bunch of laughter, some good "ribbing" and plenty of fun watching bird dogs "do their thing"....!!! We even had Adam Eakle there filming for his local outdoor TV show.
We want the thank those that donated items, Bret and Angie Wonnacott, Dennis Haggard, Ernie Wakabayashi, Richie Hight, Christie Anderson, Kris Hamby, Kelly Irons, Ryan Taylor and The Jacobson Family. These items are very appreciated and really help make the event special while at the same time fund the club so we can continue to have these events.
We want to thank all the Marshals, Judges and Bird Planters that made the trial go. Without each of you, the trial would not be possible.
We also want to thank all those that helped set up and take down the fields.
