2025 Spring Opener Trial Results

Wow, what a weird and crazy spring it has been here in Utah.  It has been very mild with little snowfall and little moisture.  It would make for a very warm and dusty opening trial to kick off our spring trial season here in Utah.  Traditionally this first trial of the spring can bring snow, mud, and cold temperatures.  But who is complaining, we will take great weather anytime we can get it…..😃.

We had an amazing trial with incredible people, incredible dogs, and a lot of fun had by all.  We had several new people that came out to play and try NSTRA for the first time.  We had friends come from neighboring states that drove many miles to attend, we appreciated their willingness to attend and had a great time getting to know them.

We want to say “THANK YOU” to all those that helped in any way with this trial.  Our trial chairman for this trial were Kelly Irons and Lance Hansen.  Our Marshall was Angie Wonnacott and our panel of judges were as follows - Joel Cartwright, Lance Hansen, Rich Lowe, Cade Allen, Josh Morris, Bret Ure, Lynn Jeffers, and Kelly Irons.  Also thank you to our new bird planter Parker Stewart, he had a blast and was able to keep everyone guessing throughout the two day event.  And of course the numerous people that are always behind the scenes making everything happen, THANK YOU!!

TRIAL HIGHLIGHTS

What a great weekend it was running dogs with such great people, we all sure love our NSTRA family.  Thanks again to all those that competed or helped in any way, it was very much appreciated.  

We look forward to our next trial on Mar. 15th-16th at the same trial grounds.  Get those dogs tuned up and ready for the next one.
