2025 Last Chance Trial Results

May 17th-18th, 2025

Newton, UT

Our last opportunity for dogs to get qualified for our end of season Regional Elimination trial would happen this year on the 3rd week of May. This trial was held at our Newton trial grounds which have been a favorite for many of us through the years. This time of year it is absolutely beautiful in Cache Valley and a fun time to host a trial here.

This trial would help our region get to 32 dogs qualified for the Elimiation trial that is to be held on June 7th-8th, 2025 at these same trial grounds. We are grateful that we were able to add some more dogs to that coveted qualified list.

Thanks to all those that took time to help with this trial, there is a lot of work that always goes on behind the scenes, so thank you to everyone that stepped up to make it happen.

We would like to thank all of those that traveled from out of state to participate, we had several folks travel far distances to come out and play and we appreciate your support for our region. It is always great to have new competition and see such great dogs come from different regions to play.

TRIAL HIGHLIGHTS

FIRST TIME PLACEMENT

Keramie Hamby is a new handler in our region and has been excited to learn and grow in the sport. She was able to have an amazing weekend with 3 amateur placements, Once with her dog SADIE, and twice with her and her dad's dog RIDGE. Way to go Keramie, it was a blast to watch.

LAST QUALIFIER

Michael Anderson and his dog COMET were able to become our last team of the season to qualify for the regional elimation trial with their OPEN placement on Sunday. We are excited to have them compete for our region title in a few weeks. Congrats to the both of them on their placement on Sunday.

Thanks again to all those that helped make this trial possible. It was a huge success and a great time despite some downpouring on Sunday at times.

Get those qualified dogs tuned up and ready for our Regional Elimination trial on June 7th - 8th. It will be a two day elimination format trial to crown our champion for the season.
