Community Outreach

Utah State Geology Club is committed to teaching the community about geology. From elementary programs to Logan Canyon tours we can accommodate any age group.

K-12 Education Programs - The USU GeoClub K-12 education program is catered to the audience and is ran most of the USU school year. Many of our programs are taught at elementary schools and teach the state of Utah core curriculum requirements. Our programs and activities are made possible by our student volunteers. We try to accommodate every request, however our availability is not guaranteed for the date of request. Because our volunteers are students we limit our presentations to twice a month.

If you would like GeoClub to visit your school please send us an email. Send requests two-three weeks in advance.

Education Program Availability

Fall 2013 -- September 3 - November 26

Spring 2014 -- January 13 - April 18

USU breaks within these dates may decrease the chance of available students to volunteer
