Commuter Benefit

Commuter Benefit:

USF provides a commuter subsidy each semester to USF-PTFA members who meet the requirements:

  • Teaching a class the current semester 
  • Do not have an on-campus parking permit
Full time staff who also teach are not eligible. 

Each Clipper Transit Card is pre-loaded with a commuter subsidy, in the form of Clipper cash, in the amount of $210 for the semester.  PTFA members teaching in summer receive a pre-loaded commuter card with $70.

Human Resources will send out an email announcing when the cards are available for pickup at HR on Lone Mountain.  Typically, the cards are available 2 or 3 weeks after the Census Date, usually by October 1 (fall), March 1 (spring), and June 15 (summer).
