Introduction
Welcome to the User Friendly Digital Photography Club (UF-DPC)  After a rocky start with several  locations, Google was kind enough to offer web page hosting for all users of Google mail.  As the Internet is a dynamic medium, this web site will grow as your adminstrators are able to devote time to posting the submissions.
Right off the bat we'd like to acknowledge those who are responsible either directly or indirectly for our presence here on the web. The concept of the photography club was Skippy-ish Guy who suggested it in Febuary of 2005 and adminstrated the assingments and collected the photos until the work load became too much for him to handle alone.  A logo was designed by lis77 based on character concept by Illiad (Userfriendly comic, characters, concepts and images copyright JD "Illiad" Frazer). By May of 2005 we had created a dedicated diary and E-mail account for the photo club. With three adminstrators  and 15 regular members the work load was quite impressive.  In addition to Skippy-ish Guy, the other two dedicated adminstrators are DerSarek and Hieraco
The origional Idea was to provide a weekly subject for members to photograph. Each member would submit several photos for each topic. Working out the math, that tallied up to a lot of pictures that needed to be reviewed and posted By December of 2005 we reduced the number of topics to one per month to give members time to collect a number of photos and send in their best. We will be continuing with the monthly topics while we build this new gallery. If your pictures do not appear right away please be patient we will get to them.

UPDATE: We will be working a building the gallery pages in the following order, one weekly topic page (week 1 - 16) followed by one monthly page (Dec 2005 - present) With a bit of work we hope to be caught up to present within a week or two, then we will finish up the early galleries.
