Below are links to websites dedicated to boating safety. Sites maintained by non-profit organizations as well as the Coast Guard and Coast Guard Auxiliary offer a wealth of safety knowledge to any concerned boater!

    Several of these links are unique to the Potomac River. Please also note the state specific links for rules governing boating on DC, Maryland and Virginia waters. Boaters should make an effort to become familiar with the boating rules of each of these jurisdictions.
