Dr. Xujun Peng (Email: peng.xujun [at] gmail [dot] com) is currently a distinguished machine learning engineer with Capital One. Previously, he worked as an applied scientist with Amazon from 2022 to 2024 and a senior research programmer with ISI at USC from 2016 to 2022. Before that, he was a research scientist at Raytheon BBN technologies. From 2005 to 2010, he worked as a research assistant in CUBS. In 2010, he received his Ph.D from the state university of New York at buffalo. His research interests include applying (deep) machine learning approaches on computer vision (CV) and natural language understanding (NLU).
