This Saturday, October 6, the University of South Alabama Jaguar Marching Band will perform in exhibition at the Lake Martin Invitational marching competition in Alexander City, AL. The Invitational, an annual event hosted by the Benjamin Russell High School Band, will feature 18 bands from throughout the state and region as they perform in the Charles E. Bailey Sportsplex of Alexander City.  It will be the first time that any of those bands have been present for a Jaguar Marching Band exhibition.

"We're very excited and honored to have been invited to perform for this year's Lake Martin Invitational," said Dr. Ward Miller, Director of the Jaguar Marching Band. "It's a wonderful facility and venue for a band competition, and we're always excited to play for new audiences.  Our thanks go to the Benjamin Russell High School Band and their director, Mr. Dale Bloodworth."

The Jaguar Marching Band invites fans, friends, and alumni of the University of South Alabama to attend the performance.  The competition begins at 12:30PM, and the Jaguar Marching Band will play in exhibition at 8:00PM.
