Kyla Cotton is the business owner of Urban Harvester. Kyla's background in the horticulture and agriculture industries is extensive. Some of her work experiences include Rare Organics, White Rose and more recently Botanix.
This past fall Kyla's edible landscape was featured in the United Way's "Estate on the Bay Designer Showcase". Kyla consulted with Beausoleil First Nations on Christian Island to teach participants how to create a garden in a box with heritage vegetable seeds. Most recently, Kyla worked in partnership with Living Green Barrie and the City of Barrie to organize building Barrie's first publicly accessible community garden, located in Sunnidale Park on Coulter St. Kyla has also completed numerous design consultations and garden builds for homeowners.
Kyla balances a career as both an Edible Landscape Consultant and Supply Teacher. Kyla also volunteers on the Board of Directors for Living Green Barrie.
