Christine has been involved in physical activity throughout her life excelling in numerous sports.  She has represented the USA on several occasions.  Christine is cuurently a Certified Personal Trainer and Kettlebell Instructor.  She has also been coaching for 15 years.  A native of the NJ metro area, she is currently enrolled in the MAT (Masters of Arts in Teaching) program, focusing on Physical Education.  Her goal is to educate the young and old of the importance of health and staying fit and active. Through this web-site, she hopes to share the abundance of information on health and PE that is soaring on the internet.

Caralyn was born and raised in New Jersey. After receiving a bachelors degree in Fine Arts/Graphic Design and Art History she decided to take the next step to achieve her masters in Art Education.  She has always had a passion for working with children and being a positive role model for them.  She hopes to share her insight about going beyond the content and the importance of involving it also in art education.

 

Urban Eve

Born and raised in the suburbs of North Jersey's metropolitan area, Eve has lived in this type of environment most of her life but has visited natural areas as well as urban centers periodically and has a strong interest in the education that takes place in urban schools. She is currently in graduate school to obtain an MAT (Master's of Arts in Teaching) and certification to teach Earth Science, so she has a passion for the natural environment and the earth's processes as well as for the welfare of our future generations. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Wildlife Conservation and Art in 2003 and has worked in Outdoor Education since, where she has seen the power of experiential and hands-on learning experiences. It is her aspiration to teach Middle/ High School Earth Science. She brings her interests to this website in the form of exploring the variety of pedagogical techniques in education to go beyond the just the content in additon to the value of teaching Earth Science in Urban areas incorporating these techniques.
