Apologies for the late announcement but the 305th Carnival of Space went live on Monday, and was hosted by Peter Lake of AstroSwanny's AARTScope blog. Peter has brought together some of the most interesting news and articles on space science and astronomy from around the Internet for your reading pleasure. Some highlights include a galaxy hurtling through space so fast that all it's gas has been blown away, discussions of a hypothetical (yet fully realisable) telescope with a 77 meter objective mirror, updates on comets and asteroids and a magicians trick with mirrors that can make orbiting satellites invisible.
As an aside, readers who follow me on twitter would know that this carnival was supposed to be hosted by me. A last-minute scheduling reshuffle meant that I will be hosting next week's carnival instead. Look forward to it!
