    HISTOREALITY – Making history glamorous through the lens of Mixed Reality
    Abstract: The venture company “AsukaLab” was established for the practical implementation of the Mixed Reality research of Ikeuchi-Oishi laboratory, the University of Tokyo. The lab initiated the “Virtual Asukakyo” project in 2004 that intends to reconstruct “Asuka”, an ancient capital of Japan, using MR technology. We have been developing on-site virtual guide service in many historical site of the country during the past decades. In this presentation, Tetsuya Kakuta, CEO of AsukaLab will present the current condition of MR tourism market and give you some tips in terms of business.
