Columbia, South Carolina - Here is the Letter from the State-wide Committee for 4th Annual D9 Legislative Day for April 6th. All minority groups (Greek and Non-Greek) are welcome to join virtually.

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Richland County Alumnae Chapter

The Richland County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, is pleased to invite you to attend the 4th Annual South Carolina Divine Nine Legislative Day on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 from 9:30 am to 3:15 pm [UPDATE]. This event is a collaborative effort of SC Divine Nine organizations and other organizations.

The purpose of this day is to increase awareness, build momentum and gain an understanding of important social issues that impact our communities. We anticipate receiving legislative updates on the SC budget, voting rights, law enforcement and other important information. The speakers for this event will be a legislative panel of SC House & Senate Representatives.

Please join us for this exciting day of collaboration and information-sharing, which we hope will lead to a shared vision of empowerment, ultimately affecting positive social and public policy changes in all our communities.

The zoom capacity is 500 and we encourage each organization to have a minimum of at least 2 delegates to register for this event. The attire for the event is business attire and to wear your respective color for your organization.

2021 Member Survey is released

New Survey released for 2021


Greenville, South Carolina - We have posted our annual membership survey for 2021. This survey will help us improve our Council participation and planning efforts for next year's events and schedule. 


We are hoping to compare the results of this year's survey with last year's survey to track any trends in our community toward the council. Please help us as we determine our strategic planning for the coming year. 


The initial promotion for the survey to be available until April 26, 2021. We will analyze the data at the future date with Council officers, representatives, and chapter leadership. 


This survey is for any NPHC Greek members living in the Upstate area (Anderson, Greenville, Spartanburg), including NPHC Representatives, local Chapter members, Charter Leadership, or Inactive members. 


How to take this survey: Please copy the URL below to your browser. The survey is eight questions and should about five minutes to complete. We do ask for your suggestions for the council, at a certain point in the survey. 


Thank you for your feedback and we will have future surveys as an ongoing effort to collect feedback for the council as we make future plans.

Join us for our next Virtual Spring Mixer on Tax Day

Greenville, South Carolina - Please join us for the NPHC Spring Quarterly Mixer on Thursday, April 15, 2021, "Tax Day". Due to the COVID-19 Crisis, the spring's mixer will be held virtually with a Zoom Conference Conference.  

NPHC Council holds these Mixers as quarterly events for chapter members of the council to share some Greek fellowship during this Spring season. 

The Mixer starts at 7:30 PM lasts until 9:30 PM. The Council will be conducting Breakrooms for COVID19 and Vaccination discussion to answer your questions about South Carolina's Vaccination Rollout. We are encouraging our NPHC members to make a donation to the Harvest Hope Food Bank of the Upstate at

The National Pan Hellenic Council of Greater Greenville in partnership with Prisma Health invites you to join us for an information and awareness session on the COVID vaccine rollout. 

Physicians and health professionals from Prisma Health will host an open forum to support and hear from members of our community about the COVID-19 vaccination efforts and address questions, challenges and share facts that you may have about the vaccine. You will also gain insight to make informed decisions and help combat vaccine misinformation and address vaccine hesitancy.  We look forward to your virtual attendance.

HIV/AIDS Awareness Service Project

Greenville, South Carolina - The Greenville (SC) Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. will sponsor a merchandise donation drive from 12/1/2020 through 12/31/2020. This drive will support World AIDS Day on December 1 and HIV/AIDS Awareness. Red Ribbon Resale Store and AIDS Upstate are 501 (c)(3) non-profit organizations. Please support this project with your donated merchandise. Donations accepted include adult clothing, kitchen items, home décor, working flat-screen TVs, etc. Donations not accepted include mattresses, computer equipment, and old TVs. Please inform the Resale Store staff that the donation is for the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. drive. Staff will provide a tax receipt and ask you to record your name/organization on our Donor List. Masks covering the nose and mouth are required to enter the resale store. Your donation is graciously appreciated!

Greenville, South Carolina - Member Chapters of NPHC of Greater Greenville have created a graphic promotion to encourage the Upstate Black community and others to remember to use their voice in the upcoming elections on November 3rd. The graphic which features members from all 11 chapters of the council, and uses the message "Talk is cheap; voting is free. Take it to the polls."

The council has focused recent efforts on Voter Education and Awareness this year by sponsoring five Debate Watch parties. Also, several member chapters conducted their own Voter Registration Drives throughout Greenville County.  Thank you to the council members and chapter presidents who participated in this promotion.

NPHC-GG hosts Final Presidential Debate Watch Party on 10/22

Greenville, South Carolina - Join us as we watch and comment on the Presidental and Vice President Debates. In this Zoom, we will watch the Final 2020 Presidential Debate on October 22nd between Incumbent President Donald Trump (R) will face off with Former Vice President Joseph Biden (D). The debate will start promptly at 8:30 PM

In addition to the watch party, we will be talking about the new rules on South Carolina's Rules on Absentee Voting, Poll Worker Information, using the Voter Education options (via NBC, and Eventbrite). Zoom will open at 8 PM.
