The mission of the Upper Susitna Seniors, Inc is to serve the communities of the Upper Susitna Valley with a focus on the needs and concerns of seniors and to provide a safe place where the community can come together for meetings, classes and special events.

Shout out and Thanks:

We thank the MEA Charitable Foundation for their grant to support our installation of exterior lights for the safety of participants attending evening events.

We thank the United Way of Anchorage for their donation to our operating funds.

We thank the The Alaska Community Foundation's 2023 Jessica Stevens Community Foundation Grant Program for their grant to assist the Center in providing classes to the Upper Su Community

We thank the Ian S. Dove Fund for their generous donation to help our general operating funds along with the Alaska Community Foundation for their continued support .

We thank VFW Post 3836 for their generous gift which will help us purchase necessary kitchen supplies and equipment.

We thank the Rasmuson Foundation for their grant which helped purchase a second vehicle that will help us begin providing Meals on Wheels to the Caswell area.

We thank the MatSu Health Foundation for continued support with additional grant funding to the Center!

We also want to thank the Food Bank of Alaska for their grant to the Center which helped purchase a vehicle so we can begin providing Meals on Wheels to the Caswell area in the Spring.

Go to the membership section and print out an application. Fill it in and mail it, along with your dues and we’ll take care of the rest.

Interested in renting the Center?
Guidelines and general information are available under “rentals.” Print out the application, fill it in, and submit it to the office. We’ll get back to you as soon as we can to firm up the details.

Come on down and work out on our exercise equipment (free to members!), or just enjoy a comfortable place to play a game.

Get involved!
Don’t forget about Tuesday lunches for a chance to catch up on what’s going on while enjoying one of Vicki's delicious meals. Do you have a skill or talent you would like to share with others, perhaps art, music, crafts, etc. If interested, contact the office at 733-6200 to discuss the possibilities.

Participate!
The Board meets the second Monday of each month at 3:30 PM. Anyone may attend these meetings, or you can contact any of the Board members to bring up issues or concerns. Check out our FB page and the bulletin board for information about upcoming events and volunteer opportunities. We welcome your ideas for what you'd like to see happening at the Center.
