CAMP Student Council

The CAMP Student Council is highest policy-making student body of the College of Allied Medical Professions (CAMP) in the University of the Philippines – Manila, rooted in the values of honor, academic excellence and social responsibility. As such, we aim to harness and instill the same values and principles to our fellow students of Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Speech Pathology. By reinforcing the practical knowledge, skills and attitudes that we have learned in the classroom, and at the same time, encouraging them to be involved in activities, campaigns, and projects that go beyond their spheres of influence and allow them to serve the community at large, we hope to unify the three disciplines and become a council that contributes to the development of competent and well-rounded allied medical health professionals.

The UP CAMP Student Council shall at all times strive to:
  • Unify the ranks of the studentry;
  • Defend and promote the rights and general welfare of the UP-CAMP studentry and the Filipino people;
  • Serve as an active forum for students’ rights, ideas and sentiments;
  • Uphold and ensure genuine democratic participation in all policy-making bodies affecting the studentry;
  • Uphold the ideals of the university that are geared towards ensuring a well-rounded
  • intellectual, social, cultural, and physical development of every student; and
  • Seek education changes for the full development of the human potential, respond to social realities, and promote academic freedom.
