Mobile Embedded System Laboratory in the University of Seoul has been conducting research on flash memory storage, enterprise storage, and embedded systems. Currently, our research topics are as follows:

    • Solid State Drives (SSDs) Application and Hybrid Storage System

      • SSD-Cache array solutions

      • Combination of conventional RAID storage system and SSDs solutions

  • SSD internal design

    • FTL resource allocation for multiple virtual machines

    • SSD performance and lifetime improvement in small/random write

    • Data retention errors reduction in Flash-based SSDs
