Association for Psychological Science Student Caucus
APSSC is the University of Scranton's local chapter of the Association for Psychological Science, a national organization with nearly 50 student chapters across the country. Our chapter of APSSC has received national recognition as the Chapter of the Year by the Association for Psychological Science three times, most recently in 2001. Our collective goal is to provide professional growth opportunities for our students including brown bag lectures, community service projects, and outreach programs. In addition, our chapter sponsors the Annual University of Scranton Psychology Conference. This event, begun in 1984, allows more than 200 attendants from more than 15 schools in several states to hear prestigious keynote speakers, attend career development workshops, and offers students an opportunity to present their undergraduate research projects.
