Today you will continue the finishing touches on your group wiki page.  Please ask Ms. Hamilton if you need assistance with Wikispaces or embedding content.

You will also receive a copy of the peer evaluation form you'll be using next week for the peer review of the projects.  Ms. Lester and Ms. Hamilton will review this form with you.  You should also use it as a final "checklist" to make sure your project is on track.

1.  Research Reflections should be printed and turned in at the beginning of class; your response should be posted prior to class on your group wiki discussion thread, please.
3.  New Source:

When looking back through my sources, I found a forum that is posted on by just people who are currently suffering from the effects of TBI, and their family members.  Don't know if you want to share this with some other groups that are doing TBI, but thought that I would offer.  It is up to date, and people post on it currently, the last post being on March 27th.  My group found it to be a good source, so I thought I would send it and let you look at it.

Writing Prompts:

Using your assigned area(s) of research (definition of the issue, impact, solutions, definition), discuss at least three significant or key pieces of information/facts you’ve discovered so far in your research.

What has been the most interesting and/or surprising information you’ve discovered so far in your research?  What are your thoughts/ reactions to this interesting or surprising piece of information?

What are the three most helpful information sources you have discovered at this point in your research?  Provide specific titles and explain how each of these three sources is informing your research.

Which of the three databases (Gale Global Issues in Context, Gale Opposing Viewpoints, and Academic Search Complete) has yielded the most helpful/informative articles?

Information Source Alerts from Catie B.

I was researching for my group's topic for Veterans' Issues (PTSD) this afternoon and I came across an article about an episode of the Dr. Oz Show that is scheduled to be aired on April 21. The episode about various health issues for female veterans. I think it might be helpful to let everyone know about this because it seems like it would be a good resource. Here is a link to the article: http://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/the-dr-oz-show-confronts-alarming-health-issues-for-female-veterans-119689049.html .

Thanks!
