is one of the few student-run organizations in the Biology department of the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. We were founded in 2008 and strive to be a resource for students of all disciplines of Biology, and for anyone else. All are welcome!

What do we do?

In the past, BUGS has contributed to various volunteer projects such as Zoo Boo and various UNM events such as Hanging of the Greens, Fall Frenzy, and most importantly Wolf Fest, a day focused on the conservation of our lovely Lobos! We also have a partnership with Kaplan and are a great resource for graduate school preparation!

BUGS usually meets once a month, but we also love to get together around town!
