What is Apple Recovery Key?

Apple ID Recovery Key is a set of 14-character long Recovery Key which is generated during the procedure of two-step signup. If you forget your password or you are unable to access all your trusted devices and your phone number also, the Recovery Key will help to restore your Apple ID account.

New Apple Recovery Key Procedure

• Visit the official Apple website which is Apple.com/recover.
  • You will get 2 options:
    1. Enter your Apple ID to get started
    2. If you forgot your Apple ID, you can look it up
• You need to click on the second option".
• Enter the details asked at Apple recovery page
• You will get Apple ID password in few days and You will get Recovery status with Date

How to change Apple ID password on iPhone

If you mistakenly forgot your apple id password for your iphone, then there is no need to worry and face hassel, here are the steps that will help you change or reset your apple id password. Follow them:

• Open Settings and click on your name to open Apple ID preferences
• Tap Password & Security
• Then, select “Change password”
• Enter your iPhone’s passcode and click Done
• Type in your new Apple ID password twice
• Choose Change and you are done.
