Marlene Pomper, longtime member of USAI, died Friday, June 14th at her home in Highland Park. Marlene had a rich professional and personal life, and it was always interesting to engage her in conversation on a wide range of topics. For many of us that pool, she was known for her steadfast commitment to swimming her half mile of laps each day. We already have missed her presence. On behalf of the USAI board and membership we extend our sympathy to her husband, Gerald, their children and the broader community she touched. Her full obituary can be found at this link.
