Welcome to the University of Nevada Alpine Skiing's conditioning Head Quarters.  Below you will find outlines of workouts, warmups, and other useful info.  As always, I am happy to help each of you develop a personalized training plan.  Let me know if you have a workout you would like to post.

Summer 2009 Conditioning Goals
  1. Develop cardiovascular efficiency

·      A solid aerobic base allows for higher intensity training and faster recovery

2.      Increase strength

3.      Increase core strength/function

·      Core strength is the key to power, coordination, and injury prevention.  Focus on the core is especially important if you’ve encountered back problems.

4.      Coordination

·      Play sports!  Get out of your comfort zone and challenge yourself to be better athletes.
