The Union Street Art Festival has become a San Francisco tradition attracting over 100,000 visitors who come to enjoy the wonderful food, art, and live music.

The Union Street Festival is free to attend, and is a great place to hang out with friends, maybe have a few drinks and people watch.

The festival takes place on Union Street between Gough Street and Steiner Street. Union Street is closed to vehicular traffic during the festival.

Art forms from jewelry, photography, fashion, painting, wood work, and so much more will be available to the art lover in all of us.

There will also be delicious, gourmet food stations serving up tempting dishes such as crepes, gyros, fried zucchini & artichoke hearts, portabello mushroom sandwiches, and more.

Live music will be playing on two separate stages located at Webster and Gough Street.  The tunes will start rocking at 10am and won’t skip a beat until 6pm.  Styles ranging from swing to hip hop to jazz.  There will be a sound for every ear.

As part of the activities at the festival there will be a time traveling experience for all. Walk back through time in a unique photography exhibit to see how Union Street was 100 years ago.
