underWAREs #4:        Sunday April 10th 7:00p                    Día de San Ezequiel                Dutchtown      

On Sunday April 10th, 16 hungry St. Louisians headed to Dutchtown for a beautiful dinner by Maude. Between numerous courses, they talked, laughed and kept cats off the table. It was a casual yet yummy affair.

Hors d'oeuvres
Bagel crostini with pickled beets, cream cheese & kale

First course
Baked butternut squash filled with spinach & topped with a quail egg
Yellow dog farm focaccia bread

Main course
Pea shoot & cream leaf lettuce with pink grapefruit in vinaigrette dressing
Shoulder ham bacon
Amish egg noodles with lamb in a mushroom cream sauce

Dessert
Baked pears and apples with sorghum
