ENDURING UNDERSTANDINGS:

  • Texture can be visual (see) or tactile (see & touch) and natural or manufactured.
  • Texture can be created by layering lines. 
  • Texture can be used to highlight an area so that it becomes more dominant than another. 



  • Texture is the surface characteristics of a material that can be experienced through the sense of touch (tactile) or the illusion of touch (visual).
